"Communicating ideas effectively is difficult"

The Task
Section One: Theory/Philosophy of communication illustrated by ideas from the three subject areas.
- Describe what is communication and explain how it can be effective
- Explain why different forms of communication are used for different purposes
- Compare and contrast effective communication in the three subject areas
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the different styles of communication you have investigated

Section Two: Great communicators from History, Geography and Mathematics
- Identify great communicators from each subject areas
- Describe what they communicated
- Explain how they communicated
- Compare and contrast the methods used by each person identified
- Evaluate the ability of each person to communicate their ideas effectively

Section Three: Select a powerful method of communication which is used in each of the three subject areas.  Some examples might include, scale drawings, statistics and graphs, maps.... Create a real example of this method which uses aspects of all three subjects.
- Describe your method of communication
- Explain how it is used to communicate effectively in the three subject areas
- Compare this means of communication to others
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the method you have chosen
