Designed CSIRO, Beaureau of Statistics, and National Libraries computer systems. His 1963 placement of computers in Australian state capitals included connection by telephone. The CD 3200 to act as a server for the CD 3600 was not understood and the former was taken by ANU. He designed the first computer data base system for the National Library.
